About the author…

Welcome to Corazón Sin Fronteras, a space where I share my journey of language, culture, and connection. As an experienced educator and lifelong learner, I’ve spent more than two decades teaching Spanish and guiding English Language Learners (ELLs) across diverse communities. My work and passion for cultural exchange have taken me far beyond the classroom—to Latin America, where I’ve immersed myself in vibrant traditions, mission work, and even powerlifting competitions.

I hold a Specialist and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Language Teaching, as well as a Global Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and English. These experiences, combined with my deep roots in Southern Mississippi, have shaped my unique perspective as a bilingual, bicultural educator and traveler.

Through Corazón Sin Fronteras, I aim to share insights from my life as a teacher, traveler, and culture enthusiast. From uncovering hidden gems in Latin America to exploring the intersection of language and identity, this blog is a celebration of living without borders—both geographically and culturally. Whether you’re here for travel inspiration, language learning tips, or a peek into my adventures, I hope you find something that resonates with your own journey.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure. Let’s explore the world together—one culture, one story, one heart at a time.
